1. Data Controller

2. Data We Collect

  • Contact / equipment valuation form: name, clinic name, email, phone, city, equipment description, photos.
  • Newsletter: email address, language preference.
  • Event submission: event name, submitter contact details (name, email).
  • Analytics: anonymized IP, browser type, OS, visit duration — collected via Umami Analytics (cookieless, GDPR-compliant).

3. Purpose of Processing

  • Responding to inquiries and equipment valuation services (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Newsletter delivery — based on consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
  • Event submission moderation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest).
  • Statistical analysis of website traffic (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. Data Retention

  • Form data: up to 3 years from last contact or until consent is withdrawn.
  • Newsletter: until unsubscription.
  • Analytics: up to 26 months (anonymized).

5. Data Recipients

Data may be shared with hosting providers (Hetzner Online GmbH, Germany), email services (Amazon SES, Resend), and analytics (Umami — self-hosted, data does not leave our servers). No data is transferred outside the EEA except Amazon SES (EU standard contractual clauses).

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, data portability, object to processing, withdraw consent, and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (UODO in Poland).

7. Cookies

MarketMed.eu uses only essential cookies (language preference, dark/light mode). We do not use marketing or advertising cookies. Analytics is based on Umami (cookieless, no consent required under GDPR/ePrivacy).

8. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures: SSL/TLS encryption, restricted data access, regular backups, EU-based servers (Hetzner, Germany).
